Ignition: Constant Reminders that Inspire Us Toward Our Goals

Ignition

Disclaimer: This article was written by SocMM Executive Director Nate Baker

Have you ever had the feeling when you are carrying out a task and have forgotten why you are doing it in the first place?

Does the player in your family struggle sometimes to muster up the energy for soccer practice or to get outside in get some extra reps in on his/her own?

We have all been there.  You are physically and mentally tired to the point that you have forgotten why you go out in the back yard and work on your juggling, your 1v1 moves, your fitness, and any other thing that will help you become a better soccer player.

I believe it is vital that we constantly make sure our inspiration tank is full and never runs dry, and a great way to make sure this is the case is by checking out SocMM’s Ignition section.  In our Ignition section, we try to update our library of videos, articles, readings and movies as much as possible.

Also every Wednesday on my blog “Coach Nate’s Corner”, we do a series of blogs every Wednesday entitled “Ignition Wednesday” with material that we hope will have you inspired and focused as you get into the back-end of your week.

The three videos below have been added to the Ignition Video section and have been featured on “Coach Nate’s Corner”.  Please enjoy and prepare to be ignited!
